Enough of depressing posts now time for some happy stuff ^^

Firstly, I received my copy of ayaka's The beginning album yesterday!

It's funny how I was just saying that the CD is still on its way to my house and then when I woke up the next day, the CD was already on the table XD

Next, after much contemplating, I've pre-ordered Yuya and miwa's albums!! ^^

Since I wanted the first press editions, I ordered from CDJapan (miwa's album only had first press available on CDJapan) this time round. It's been a while, cos the last time I ordered from them was last April. LOL. I was kind of disappointed that the regular edition for Yuya's album was sold out so I got Type B since Type A were just PVs and clips from that 3rd Anniversary Special Live.

Enough on money splurge.

Hmm.
So apparently...
Every single device I own seems to be running out of space!?
First off, I noticed yesterday that the capacity bar thingy on my C: drive was going red again! So I had to move my music library to D: drive, since that's the bulk of all the stuff on my computer.
Then next, my MP3 player is running out of space too. Well, that's nothing new actually but seriously I don't think I can survive on a 8GB thingy to store my music while I'm on the go. I need something with a higher capacity. So I think I shall save up for a 16GB iPod nano since iPod touch is definitely way over my budget (no 8GB, no!). We'll see X)

School just continues to get more depressing, nothing much to talk about though. Some lecturer just annoy the hell out of me, makes me wanna punch his face. I mean, what's with that smug face? Landing all your students in some sort of a bad situation all thanks to your incompetency in teaching. Is that something to be proud of, huh? Just go back to research already and who knows you might be able to get some kind of a revolutionary discovery out of it!

And after the career fair last Friday, I'm starting to really find the future bleak. There's not really much jobs available for Chemistry majors. Those who are at the higher levels have got no worries at all cos they'll definitely be the ones top companies are looking for. Even if you're a tad lower, you'll still find somewhere you'll be able to fit. For people like me, I don't know. I think having an honours is really important after all but what to do? I do not want to finally realize that there will be nothing at the end of it after four years of struggle. Well, I guess my family would want me to go into education, after all that's what a few of my relatives are doing. Sigh. I'm not really cut out for it though. As the saying goes, 船到橋頭自然直, we'll see about that when the time comes then.

I think that's all about school. Shall go and take a look at my LS9001 assignment 1 which is due on the coming Thursday. Dammit. I can't understand a single word on the first page! ;_____;

So yup, hopefully things in school will take a good turn for me soon. Sigh.

What can I say...?

School's some kind of depressing business.

It's come to a point where it's hard to stay positive anymore. Everything just doesn't go right. I was looking through degree audit the other day and I realized one thing. It seems like I haven't been doing well for my core modules at all. The best grade I've ever gotten weren't even great, just a passable grade. What kind of irony is this? Well, yea, I've said this for who-knows-how-many times but yes, I'm really positive I'm not cut out for this course. How can someone be flunking their core modules so badly?

Well, the test on Wednesday was horrible. It's so stupid cos I studied for it, understood everything, etc. and I just blanked out on the paper. I ought to punch myself right in the face, really. Something as simple as derivation made me spend some good ten minutes and ended up with nothing similar to the given equation. WTF's happening to me? I used to be not too bad at Chemistry and Calculus and now look, what is this?

School was horrible today too. I guess that's about all my bad luck used up in a day. I forgot to submit my lab report and when I finally remembered to do so, the lab technician told me it will be considered as late. To think I even arrived at the lab earlier today. DAMN. "But I'd still have to submit, right?" That's what I told the lab technician when she said my report will be considered as late submission. Yea, whatever it is, I just want to submit my report. A near 0% yield already meant that my report won't have a good grade. I'm fine with that since it's not like I haven't seen worse. So well, I got my report submitted "late" and it's not even like I was late for lab.

And then there's Spanish. This is really bad. The language is so #@%$^$@$^% foreign to me, I can't follow at all. And all the other people in the class seem to be really good at grasping the language. Language lessons have never been this unenjoyable at all. It's like I really fear that the teacher would call upon me to ask questions. Language lessons are supposed to be fun, not filled with fear. Maybe cos my command in English is really bad so I find these non-Asian language really difficult to grasp? IDK but right now all I can see is that it was quite a mistake to have taken up Spanish in the first place. So much grammar and my grammar ain't even good, no matter what language it is (thank goodness there isn't such a big focus on grammar in Chinese). This makes me miss Japanese lessons really, really badly. It's something I'm most familiar with out of all the foreign languages and you can see why. Well, too bad and too late for any regrets. Hopefully I'll be able to get the hang of Spanish soon.

SIGH.
You know how it is when you've been "depressed" for over so many instances that anymore depressing stuff just come to you as nothing? It's really hard to try to stay positive and turn all this positivity into motivation to work hard. At the end of the day, you'll just start to doubt yourself, whether it's your lazy self taking over or whether you're just plain unintelligent.

Hmm.
CNY's getting really boring and meaningless year by year, I must say. The CNY mood is soon-disappearing after each year, without anything fun happening. The adults would play mahjong and have rounds and rounds and rounds of it and I'll be sitting there like some kind of a statue, having nothing to do. So I decided and finally completed watching AAA's BC tour (or AAABCDE like what Hidaka's said :P). Haha that's one of the many concerts off my to-watch list 8D I'm currently half-way through flumpool's XD No time for concerts now though. It's study mode on!

Well, since there's really nothing exciting about the holiday, I'll just post up the pictures!

Yup and that about sums up my CNY this year. Went to quite a lot of houses to 拜年 this year though. LOL. That's something different from past years.

Now to some kind of a flailing corner before I continue my lab report and then CBC426 revision!

Firstly, AAA released the PV preview for SAILING! YAY YAY ♥

I think I like the song! ^O^ I find this PV really beautiful and I really love the colour scheme. Nissy and Shuta's vocals are really really nice, I can replay their parts over and over again ♥♥ I love Chiaki's harmonies with Shin too!! :D And Chiaki is sooooo beautiful!! 女神~~~ *O* I like her candy ring too! LOL. One thing that bothers me is the connection between the verses, pre-chorus and the chorus. I think that happens a lot to their songs lately >_< But I still love the song, no matter what :P

Next, I'm currently addicted to Yuya's new song, Kimi e no Love Song ~10 Nen Saki mo~. I really want to pre-order his new album too but I'm rather broke right now so we'll see about that later XD

Back in one whole piece

I survived week one. YAY! \(^O^)/

Well, I guess it's just week one so there's nothing much but looking at this semester's schedules, it definitely doesn't look too friendly. A test at the end of the month for CBC426!! That's really fast and I'm not really prepared for it. And loads of other tests coming up later on. I hate school, I really hate school.

I'm determined to study hard this coming semester, I might not exceed that cGPA I'm aiming for but I hope there's some improvement this semester, despite all the horrible modules. To worsen everything, I only have one elective this semester cos it seems like there's nothing much that I want to take. You know how my core modules are always the ones that pull down my GPA and electives are actually the modules I can actually score. This is not even funny. Did I say I'm gonna take Spanish this semester? Yup, so I'm taking a brand new language which I've never come into contact at all before. Hopefully everything will go well! Ah, the materials needed for the language are sooooo expensive X_X

No money, no brains, destined to have a hard university life?

So about week 1. I think I'm still able to follow a bit. I'm still unable to clearly identify which is CBC313 and which is CBC312 though. LOL. And I really dislike those lecturers who think they have great sense of humour but in fact, the jokes they tell are absolutely not funny at all. On top of that, they like to sidetrack a lot. Like HELLO, just get back to the lecture already and not tell some uninteresting stories that bore people. They are even equally annoying on online lectures = =

Not looking forward to week 2 cos lab sessions are starting! This lab is 21398736743x scarier than the previous ones cos it's continuous, so if something goes wrong -touches wood- in between, that's it for the whole module. How exciting huh? =X I hope I can skip week 2 and go straight to the CNY week. Haha!

Hmm anyway, I finally went to did my hair. Straightened and dyed. I wanted deep purple but it turned out to be red. Dammit. Dear hairdressers, please learn how to differentiate between red and purple. Hmm this is how the colour roughly turned out to be like:

Sometimes, I don't understand how people can juggle between fangirling and studying at the same time. Unless you don't study at all and fangirl all your days away, don't you actually set some time aside for your studies as well? DON'T YOU ACTUALLY NEED TO STUDY!? Or maybe I'm just not that intelligent to be able to handle both at the same time. Seriously, some people just makes me wonder how they do that. Constant fangirling and spamming everywhere and still get good grades? Nah, definitely not me. Fangirling should be just adequate. Excessive fangirling annoys people. 今勉強より大切なことがないから。

Well, it's time to get ready for the new semester again. Let's gooooo!!

...not that I'm extremely excited about the start of a new semester, really. I mean, this semester break seemed really short, there wasn't enough excitement and all. Just thinking about having to go to bed early and wake up early and having to squeeze in the train with people makes me dread going to school. And to worsen everything, this new semester is all about organic chemistry, something I absolutely suck at. And by that, I mean something I'm struggling to pass, no joke (and there will, of course, be people who struggle to not get a B, while B for me, is something I haven't seen in ages, goodness, how I hate this).

As for electives, I got Spanish level 1. Wanted to continue with Japanese but the tutorials clash with one of the lectures. It's the first time that I come into contact with Spanish, I wonder how it will be? =\ Hopefully everything will be alright :)

Wednesday
Went out with my mum to get some new clothes for CNY. It's really hard to get clothes these days. Most of the clothes I see are far too unacceptable for my taste and for those that I really like, I'd usually get turned off by their price tags. Stuff these days are really expensive, eh? Where have all the pretty and affordable stuff gone to? :(

Well, managed to get a few pieces of new clothes in the end. They're not really my ideal kind of clothes but at least I got something.

Thursday
My copy of Chiaki's PB and OOR's album finally reached my house after travelling such a long journey! YAY happy stuff makes me happy! ^O^

Look at those pretty stuff :P They were stuffed into the box back again cos I had to go out XD

Went to Cash Studio for the very first time :D Well, it's pretty basic, with very limited song choices but the price is definitely affordable! And the best thing is that they're not really that strict about timing. Haha. Had quite a lot of fun cos it's been sometime since I last went to sing ^-^ Some of their English songs have katakana at the top of the English lyrics. LOL. I find it quite cute.

I forgot what song this was though XD

Bought YUI's album finally cos of the DVD that comes with it. LOL!

It's always like that, I always buy the album for the DVD instead of the actual album itself XD

Friday
Went to The Mind Cafe for the first time too XD We went in about an hour late cos we had our lunch first and all of us were late for the meeting for our lunch too!! I was half an hour late but I turned out to be the earliest XD Played quite a number of board games, all I've never played before. It was a really interesting experience for me :D

Went to Timbre @ The Substation for dinner.

Pretty, pretty drinks and yummy food. Haha! It was a nice place to have drinks, eat and talk :)

And I rearranged my posters today. Woke up in the morning to find two of my posters on the floor. LOL.

I've finally put the UVERworld poster up and the right side is now officially the AAA wall 8D Now I hope those posters don't fall on me again XD

Ending this post with a recent music obsession. Well, actually, it's not that recent either XD

And I hope that I'll be able to improve on those things I'm good at and get rid of all the bad habits. Here we go, it's another year to survive! :)
